Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs Reportedly Hospitalized for Knee Pain Amid Federal Detention

Music mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs was reportedly admitted to a New York hospital last week for medical evaluation after experiencing knee pain, according to TMZ.

Sources with direct knowledge claim Combs was transferred from the Metropolitan Detention Center (MDC) in Brooklyn to a local hospital on Thursday, where he underwent an MRI to assess ongoing knee discomfort.

Combs, who has reportedly struggled with knee issues in the past, remains in federal custody as investigations continue into allegations related to his business dealings. The specifics of his medical treatment and current condition have not been disclosed.

When reached for comment, Combs’ attorney, Marc Agnifilo, declined to confirm or discuss his client’s medical status.

“I cannot comment on anything related to prisoner movements. Also, I’m not commenting on anything related to possible medical issues,” Agnifilo stated.

The Metropolitan Detention Center, where Combs is being held, has faced scrutiny over inmate medical care in recent years. The Bureau of Prisons has yet to release a statement on Combs’ reported hospitalization.

Legal experts note that detainees in federal custody are entitled to medical treatment under the Eighth Amendment, which prohibits cruel and unusual punishment. However, concerns about the adequacy of medical care in federal facilities have led to legal challenges and policy reforms.

Combs’ legal team has not indicated whether they will seek any accommodations for his medical condition or file a motion regarding his treatment while in custody. The investigation into his case remains ongoing.
