Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs Requests $50 Million Bond After Arrest for Sex Trafficking

Music mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs is seeking release on a $50 million bond following his recent arrest on charges related to sex trafficking.

Prosecutors, however, are pushing back, arguing that Combs poses a significant flight risk.

In a formal proposal, Diddy challenges these claims, making clear his commitment to comply with legal proceedings and offering substantial collateral in support of his release.

Diddy, whose real name is Sean Combs, submitted a proposal offering a $50 million bond, co-signed by key members of his family.

His mother, Janice Combs, the mother of his oldest son, his sister, and his three sons, including bonus son Quincy, have all signed in support of his bond.

In addition, Combs has offered his homes as collateral, underscoring his intent to remain in the U.S. throughout the legal process.

According to the proposal, Combs voluntarily traveled to New York, where the investigation was already underway, showing no indication of fleeing upon learning of the allegations.

As part of his bond conditions, Combs has agreed to restricted travel, limited to the Southern District of Florida and the Southern District of New York for court appearances, meetings with his legal team, and medical appointments.

In a further gesture of compliance, several of Diddy’s family members, including his mother, Janice, and his daughters, Chance, Jessie, D’Lila, and one-year-old Love, have already surrendered their passports to legal counsel.

Prosecutors, however, remain adamant that Diddy’s international connections and resources could facilitate a potential escape, urging the court to deny his release.
