Man Who Went Viral For Driving On A Suspended License Exonerated Over Clerical Error

Corey Harris

In a surprising turn of events, Corey Harris, who gained viral attention earlier this week for driving with a suspended license during a Zoom meeting with a judge, has been found innocent.

It appears that he is, in fact, a victim of a clerical error.

Harris’s license was suspended in January 2010 due to unpaid child support.

However, after being caught driving on a suspended license, Harris stated:

“They were supposed to have lifted it 2 years ago.”

Recent investigations support Harris’s claim.

According to Saginaw County court records, in January 2022, a judge rescinded the suspension on his license.

This revelation comes as a relief to Harris, who expressed feeling embarrassed, especially considering his ties to the church.
