Kanye West or Ye is under scrutiny after being accused of battery in Los Angeles following an alleged altercation where he reportedly punched a man.
The incident, which TMZ initially reported, purportedly occurred after the man in question allegedly made inappropriate physical advances towards West’s wife, Bianca Censori.
However, Ye’s Yeezy chief of staff, Milo Yiannopoulos, has disputed the allegations, claiming that Censori was physically and sexually assaulted by the man accusing West.
Yiannopoulos asserted that the description of the incident as a mere “grabbing” was inadequate, emphasizing the severity of the alleged assault.
According to reports, West and his wife left the scene before law enforcement arrived, and the victim did not require medical treatment for his injuries. LAPD officers responded to the incident at a hotel on Sunset Boulevard in West Hollywood, where a battery report was completed.
However, there has been no confirmation from authorities regarding West’s status as a suspect, and as of now, no charges have been filed against him.
This is not the first time West has faced legal action related to altercations. Last year, he was sued by a photographer for assault, battery, negligence, and interference with civil rights following an incident where he allegedly threw her phone into traffic.
Despite the ongoing controversy, West continues his music career, with his recent album “Vultures” reaching the top of the Billboard 200 chart in February. Fans eagerly anticipate the rumored sequel, “Vultures 2,” expected to drop in May.
For now, the investigation into the battery allegations against West remains ongoing, with further updates awaited from law enforcement and West’s representatives.
