Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs Accused of Drugging and Raping 17-Year-Old in 2012 Nightclub Incident: Lawsuit

Sean “Diddy” Combs, the embattled music mogul, faces yet another explosive lawsuit alleging he drugged and anally raped a 17-year-old boy in a New York City nightclub in 2012.

The lawsuit, filed in New York State Supreme Court by an anonymous plaintiff identified as “John Doe,” accuses Combs of sexual assault and describes the alleged victim’s ongoing trauma, including nightmares of the incident.

According to the complaint, the alleged victim was 17 when he paid $100 to enter a SoHo nightclub in 2012. Once inside, he was invited to Combs’ private table, where he and others were offered shots of vodka.

The lawsuit claims that Combs later instructed the teen to follow him to a back room, where the alleged assault took place.

The filing describes a chaotic scene in the back room, with members of Combs’ entourage, strippers, and escorts present. The plaintiff alleges that Combs handed him another shot of Ciroc vodka, which he drank before becoming “hazy and disoriented.” The complaint states that the teen “went in and out of consciousness” and was aware of the assault but unable to stop it.

“To this day, (John Doe) often has nightmares of being in the back room of the nightclub, watching as Combs takes him from behind,” the lawsuit states. The plaintiff claims he did not report the incident at the time due to embarrassment and fear of Combs’ “power and notoriety.”

In a statement to PEOPLE, Combs’ legal team dismissed the allegations as “facially ridiculous or demonstrably false,” adding:

“Mr. Combs and his legal team have full confidence in the facts and the integrity of the judicial process. In court, the truth will prevail that Mr. Combs never sexually assaulted or trafficked anyone—man or woman, adult or minor.”

This latest lawsuit adds to a growing list of legal troubles for Combs. Over the past year, he has been accused of sexual assault, sex trafficking, and other crimes in multiple civil lawsuits.

In December 2023, Anna Kane, the ex-wife of Edmonton Oilers player Evander Kane, sued Combs, alleging he and two others gang-raped her when she was 17. In November 2023, singer Cassie Ventura filed a lawsuit accusing Combs of sexual abuse and sex trafficking; the case was settled the next day.

Combs is also facing federal charges, including sex trafficking, racketeering, and transportation for the purposes of prostitution. Arrested in September 2023, he has been denied bail three times and is currently incarcerated at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn. He has pleaded not guilty to all charges, and his trial is scheduled for May 2025.

The new allegations have reignited public scrutiny of Combs’ conduct and the broader issue of accountability in the entertainment industry.
