Floyd Mayweather Sued by Former Employee For Alleged Assault

Floyd Mayweather is facing a legal battle following allegations of assault by a former employee of his Las Vegas strip club, “Girl Collection.”

Jasmine Woodward, an ex-dancer at the club, has filed a lawsuit claiming that the boxing legend slapped her in the face in front of both staff and customers in April 2023.

The incident reportedly occurred after Woodward approached Mayweather about not receiving compensation for her shifts earlier that week.

Woodward alleges that after the slap, Mayweather followed her to the back of the club, where she confronted him about the assault.

According to her attorney, Mayweather allegedly dismissed the incident, claiming she couldn’t “take a joke.”

Shortly after the confrontation, Woodward was fired from her position.

Another former employee has joined Woodward’s lawsuit, backing her claims. The two women are seeking unspecified damages from Mayweather and his sister, who is also named in the lawsuit.

Mayweather’s legal team has categorically denied the allegations, calling the lawsuit a “legal shakedown.”

His lawyers stated:

“Mr. Mayweather looks forward to proving in court that these allegations are false.”

Mayweather, no stranger to legal challenges, now faces a fresh legal battle that could potentially tarnish his business interests outside the boxing ring.
