Irv Gotti, the founder of Murder Inc. Records, is confronting legal challenges after a lawsuit was filed against him on July 11th in Miami-Dade County.
The plaintiff, identified as Jane Doe, has accused Gotti of a series of sexual assaults and abuses spanning from 2020 to 2022 in locations including Saint Martin, Miami, and Atlanta.
According to the lawsuit, Jane Doe has suffered severe emotional and psychological harm as a result of the alleged abusive relationship.
The lawsuit states that these injuries have been so severe that she required hospitalization in a psychiatric ward and continues to suffer from their effects.
The lawsuit details that Jane Doe initially met Irv Gotti through a mutual friend in 2020.
It alleges that during a vacation to Saint Martin that Gotti invited her on, he allegedly pressured her into a sexual relationship under the threat of sending her home if she refused.
The lawsuit claims that Jane Doe complied due to Gotti’s perceived power and influence in the music industry.
As their relationship progressed, Jane Doe claims it became marked by what she describes as ongoing abuse.
The lawsuit cites specific instances, including an alleged incident in January 2022 at a Miami Four Seasons hotel where Jane Doe claims Gotti forced her to perform oral sex on him in an elevator. Another incident in the summer of 2022 during a trip to Atlanta allegedly involved a similar assault in an Uber.
The lawsuit states that Jane Doe ended the relationship following these incidents.
Jane Doe is seeking a trial by jury to seek justice and hold Irv Gotti accountable for the alleged misconduct outlined in her legal complaint.
