Megan Thee Stallion Responds to Harassment Lawsuit, Says The Claims “Lack Merit”

Megan Thee Stallion has swiftly denied all allegations brought against her in a harassment lawsuit filed on Tuesday, April 23, asserting that the claims hold no legal merit and are an attempt to exploit her celebrity status for financial gain.

According to reports from Page Six, Megan’s attorney, Alex Spiro, refuted the accusations, stating:

“This is an employment claim for money — with no sexual harassment claim filed and with salacious accusations to attempt to embarrass her. We will address this matter in court.”

The lawsuit, initiated by Emilio Garcia, a videographer who worked with Megan from 2019 to June 2023, alleges a hostile work environment, unwelcome exposure to private activities, and unjust termination.

Alongside Megan, her companies Megan Thee Stallion Entertainment, Hot Girl Touring, and Roc Nation are listed as defendants.

Among the claims, Garcia recounts a distressing incident during a trip to Ibiza in 2022, where he alleges he was made to witness sexual activity involving Megan in a moving vehicle, causing him embarrassment and discomfort.

“I felt uncomfortable,” Garcia recounted in an interview with NBC News. “I was kind of frozen, and I was shocked. At kind of just the overall audacity to do this right, right beside me.”

In addition to the aforementioned allegations, Garcia asserts that Megan subjected him to verbal abuse, including derogatory remarks about his appearance and eating habits.

He contends that the work environment created by Megan was hostile and oppressive, leading to his termination.

Responding to the lawsuit, Ron Zambrano, an attorney representing Garcia, emphasized his client’s pursuit of rightful compensation and addressed the alleged misconduct.

“Megan just needs to pay our client what he’s due, own up to her behavior, and cease this type of sexual harassment and fat-shaming conduct,” Zambrano asserted.

The lawsuit seeks financial damages for Garcia, who claims to have suffered emotional and physical distress as a result of his treatment on the job and subsequent termination.

As the legal proceedings unfold, Megan Thee Stallion has yet to publicly comment further on the allegations, leaving the matter to be resolved through the legal process.
