Sixty-six-year-old Kevin Monahan faced Judge Adam Michelini’s stern words before receiving a sentence of 25 years to life for the murder of 20-year-old Kaylin Gillis.
The tragic incident unfolded when Gillis, a passenger in a car, mistakenly entered Monahan’s driveway while searching for a friend’s house in rural New York. In a shocking turn, Monahan fired shots at the vehicle, fatally injuring Gillis.
